Kaye Thermocouple Feedthru

The Kaye Thermocouple Feedthrough provides easy access for thermocouples through the validation port on steam sterilizers, freeze dryers, or any other closed chamber/container that needs to be validated. This TÜV-certified stainless-steel feedthrough is suitable for direct connection to pressure and vacuum chambers and can accommodate up to 18 thermocouples of varying diameters. Thanks to its robust 316 stainless steel construction, which has no threads or sharp edges that could damage the thermocouple wires, it is ideal for thermal validation and temperatures above +140°C/ +285°F. No sealing plugs are required for unused ports, simplifying installation.

The thermocouple feedthrough uses simple and cost-effective silicone rubber seals. It features standard 1.5" Tri-Clamp® connections and can be easily installed without tools. With dimensions of only 45 mm / 1.8” in diameter and 149 mm/ 5.9” in length, this thermocouple feedthrough is particularly suitable for space-constrained applications. Depending on the temperature range, different standard seals are available to ensure maximum tightness—whether for pressure or vacuum applications, hot or extremely cold, in the temperature range of -60°C to +160°C/ -76°F to +320°F.

In combination with a Y-piece Adaptor, an additional feedthrough and, for example, a pressure sensor can be connected to the validation port, facilitating the connection of up to 36 thermocouples to the chamber to be validated.

The Kaye Thermocouple Feedthrough is TÜV-certified for pressure vessels from -1 bar to +5 bar / -14.5 psi to 72.5 psi and is therefore versatile in various applications, such as steam sterilization/autoclave validation, freeze-drying/lyophilization, or bioreactors.
