One thing that Kaye prides itself on is that we are always progressing. We are always looking to make our products better. LabWatch IoT, Kaye’s cloud-based environmental and facility monitoring system, is one of those products that is constantly seeing new improvements. In this post, we are going to look at some of the major new features that are making LabWatch IoT even better.
First and foremost, recently there has been a voice framework update that we are encouraging all users to take advantage of. With this upgrade, there is improved security measures and performance levels that every user will see benefits from. One of the most noticeable improvements is on the performance side, where users can see load times improved by up to twenty times what they were previously.
With recent revision releases, users can now copy dashboards to different locations in the equipment model. This gives you the ability to move the dashboard you need to where you need it to be. Also, LabWatch IoT now supports single sign-on (SSO) login options. This means, for our users that have access to multiple sites, you will be able to access all your sites with a single sign on. This makes things much easier for users by enabling them to only need a single log in instead of having to log in multiple times to access each site.
Improvements have also been made with alert statuses and history reporting. You are now able to include a new field of data for alert configuration. Also, there have been changes that have been made that now there is the capability to save the time point configuration with each historical state change, thus allowing this to be shown in the user interface and reports.
Keeping up to date with your equipment is now easier than ever. Using the native message boards, any user that has a responsibility for equipment status can be informed through a local mobile APP any faults, alerts, and user interactions with equipment. Easy quick links are also built into each message to allow for alert acknowledgment or parameter trend view. No more hunting around on a web page to find the right information!
With simple regression views built into the trending components, it is now ever easier to see how your equipment is trending over several days or months. Instant regression information can give you insight into oncoming failures, such as blocked filters or compressor faults. This gives you the ability to alert your facility staff to these issues before the product fails!
